Church Loans for Small Churches – Griffin Church Loans

Church Loans for Small Churches

Small churches are the backbone of every town across the United States of America. They support their communities and give a place to worship to everyone. That said it is often the hardest for these churches to acquire funding to meet their needs. They often give up and never get the funds that they require to thrive. Church loans for small churches are near and dear to our hearts and it is part of our mission to help them grow and prosper.  Each year we make loans to many large churches borrowing many millions of dollars but we never forget that each of those churches started the same way; as a Pastor with a vision from God and a few members.

It is very difficult for small churches to secure financing and they often give up before they find Griffin Capital Funding.

Griffin’s Successes in Church Loans for Small Churches

We just closed a loan for a small church in Plainfield, IL. The church was purchasing their first sanctuary, and they found us. They had an opportunity to purchase an abandoned library building for $140,000 through an auction.  We worked closely with them throughout the process to make sure that they got their loan.

We also closed a loan for a small church in Charlotte, NC. They needed $103,200 to purchase a sanctuary. This church loan for a small church loan was interesting because the church was moving back to the town where they started. About 3 years ago, the congregation decided to move closer to the city. However, over time, they realized that they could best serve their community back in their original town. So, they were purchasing a building to move back home.

  • We are in the process of building a new sanctuary in Warrior, Alabama. We have 8 acres and meet in our old structure. We owe $100,000.00 on the current loan at our local bank. We want to borrow $400,000.00 which would pay off our current loan and complete our building. We have already built the pad, got water lines ran and septic system in place, all paid with cash.

  • Yes, we would love to work with you. Please call our office at 800-710-6762 xt. 1

  • We are a new ministry soon to be 1 yrs old. However, the majority of the membership came from an existing 70yr old congregation. Same people new name and location. Our lease agreement will expire in a few months. We saw our space listed for rental at twice our current rent. We think we may need to buy sooner than later. We’re interested in a property with a school onsite that’s nearby. Do you think you can help?

  • We are a small congregation sent out to plant a church. However we are running into th issue of renting in this particular city is outrageous and being able to by would be half of the monthly cost. However we have not been able to get funding because of being a year old ministry. We meet in someone else church but having to meet a 3 is difficult for growth. Have eyes on a church for sale but need financing assistance. Do you think you can help.

    Trusting God.
