Rev. Anthony has a passion for God, the Word of God, and the people of God. Accordingly, he continues to serve the body of Christ in the capacity of Church Accountant, Minister of the Gospel, Teacher, and now as a Church Loan Specialist.
Rev. Anthony received his license to preach in 2008 and has been a member of Blessed Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Lakeland, FL since 2006. Rev. Anthony serves as Associate Minister at Blessed Hope. He earned a Master of Theology degree from Florida Theological Seminary in 2018.
Rev. Anthony earned a Business degree from College of the Desert followed by advanced study in accounting at Rutgers University. He specialized study in business management and entrepreneurship at Polk State College.
Rev. Anthony is President and CEO of Marvin Anthony & Associates, LLC, an accounting and consulting firm that he founded in 1995. He has proven skills in small business accounting, income statement analysis, balance sheet analysis, payroll administration, and taxation.
Rev. Anthony is the proud father of two adult children, Sagirah and Marc. An avid angler, Rev. Anthony enjoys bass fishing in Polk County, FL, the “Bass Fishing Capital of the World”.
