William C. “Bill” Griffin, Jr., D. Min.
William C. “Bill” Griffin, Jr. is the oldest of ten children born to the late Rev. W. C. Griffin, Sr. and the late Barbara Griffin. The Mississippi native is a graduate of Meridian High School and the University of Southern Mississippi.

He publically acknowledged his call to the gospel ministry in January 2013 at St. John Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. A firm believer in 2 Timothy 2:15, he enrolled at Newburgh Theological Seminary and received a Master of Arts degree in Theology in December of 2014. Immediately following the completion of the Master’s degree, he started his pursuit of a Doctor of Ministry degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Andersonville in May 2016. Griffin was solemnly and publicly set apart and ordained to the work of the Gospel Ministry in September 2014, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX. He is currently Pastor of the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, MS.
Professionally, Griffin has experience in banking and insurance as both an agent and property claims management. He recently associated himself with Griffin Church Loans (his name and the name of the company are merely co-incidental) because of his desire to aid the local church with capital improvement programs and obtaining the best rates for congregations when re-financing is a viable option.
Griffin is married to his Jr. High school sweetheart Bobbye Woods. They are the proud parents of Corey and Kelli Griffin, and they have five beautiful granddaughters.
